Pakistani DJ Assaulted by Mob of Motorcyclists in Pattaya
PATTAYA – A Pakistani discjockey was severely beaten by a group of approximately ten motorcyclists, alleged to be food delivery riders, in a violent confrontation on a Pattaya street. The assault occurred early Thursday morning in front of Wat Chaimongkol on South Pattaya Road, leaving the 31-year-old victim with significant bruising and swelling to his head and body.

According to the DJ, who works at a local entertainment venue, the incident began as he was riding his motorbike. After passing a traffic light, he was suddenly surrounded by several men on motorcycles who shouted at him to stop. They immediately began punching him, and after he fell to the ground, the attack escalated to kicking and beating him. The victim recounted that the assailants accused him of “causing trouble” before launching the assault.
The DJ suspects the violence may be linked to a minor encounter from two days prior, when a food delivery rider honked at him. In response, he had simply asked the rider, “Why are you honking?” He insists the interaction ended there without any argument and that he does not know if the same individual was involved in the attack.

Security camera footage from the scene reportedly corroborates the victim’s account, showing the group ganging up on him, punching and kicking him repeatedly, and even using their helmets as weapons. The attack continued despite shouts from local residents urging the assailants to stop. Following the assault, the men fled the scene on their motorcycles.
