PATTAYA – A foreign tourist has been accused of groping a woman while allegedly assisting her off a speedboat at Pattaya’s Bali Hai Pier, an incident captured on video that has since sparked widespread criticism online. The episode occurred on November 24 but came to public attention after the victim’s boyfriend shared the footage on Facebook on December 2.

The video shows a man wearing a red T-shirt and black shorts offering help to the woman, identified as Gamgung, as she disembarks from a swaying vessel. While initially appearing to provide balance, the man’s hand allegedly moves inappropriately to her private area. The clip prompted an outcry from viewers, many of whom urged the couple to file a formal complaint with the Tourist Police and dismissed suggestions that the act could be excused as a cultural misunderstanding.
In an interview with AEC News Pattaya, the victim’s boyfriend explained that he was unaware of the incident until another passenger, who had recorded the disembarkation, sent him the video. Leo stated that the suspect and a friend had been drinking but had not displayed inappropriate behavior before the boat trip.
