The former engineer held in military custody on suspicion of involvement in Phra Mongkutkhlao hospital has confessed to the crime.

Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwan who is in charge of security affairs told Thai PBS that the suspect, a 62-year old former electrical engineer at a state enterprise, admitted to the military that he was involved in the bombing incident.
