NONTHABURI – A devastating fire tore through a warehouse in Nonthaburi on Tuesday morning, reducing a collection of high-value supercars and Tesla electric vehicles to ashes and causing an estimated total loss of 200 million baht. The blaze erupted around 7:50 a.m. in the Pak Kret district, with security footage capturing the initial moment a bright white light appeared before the flames rapidly spread and engulfed the entire facility.

The intensity of the fire presented a severe challenge for emergency crews, who struggled to bring it under control. During the firefighting efforts, the blaze even managed to engulf one of the fire trucks responding to the incident. Authorities were officially notified by Pol. Lt. Col. Phon Phueanphrom at 8:30 a.m., prompting a major response from local and surrounding fire stations.
According to initial assessments from investigators, the catastrophic event destroyed approximately five supercars with a combined value of 100 million baht, alongside 45 Tesla vehicles estimated to be worth around 90 million baht. The damage to the warehouse structure itself brings the total estimated loss close to the 200 million baht figure.

A car industry expert commented on the far-reaching impact of the incident, stating, “The loss to both the retailer and the manufacturers is significant, and will likely impact future imports and sales in the region.” Other stakeholders, including the owners of the vehicles, are now awaiting more detailed assessments of the damage.
