Missing Divers Rescued After Search Off Phuket Coast
PHUKET – A Thai and a German diver have been safely rescued after going missing during a diving excursion near Racha Noi island. The two individuals were located on a rocky outcrop by a coordinated search party on Thursday afternoon, following a four-hour operation.

According to the Thai Maritime Enforcement Command Centre Region 3, the divers were reported missing at 1:30 p.m. while diving in the waters off the island in Muang district. A naval patrol boat, Tor 272, along with other support vessels, was immediately dispatched to the area to conduct the search.

The divers were successfully found and subsequently transported back to the island aboard the navy ship. The command centre confirmed their safe recovery but did not provide details regarding the circumstances that led to their disappearance or the loss of communication. The identities of the two individuals have not been released to the public.
