Woman Robs Indian Tourists of 50,000 Baht in Pattaya Hotel Room
PATTAYA – Two Indian tourists have filed a police report alleging they were robbed of over 50,000 baht by a woman they invited to their Pattaya hotel room. The incident, which occurred in the early hours of October 23, 2025, has prompted an investigation by Pattaya City Police.

The victims, identified as 52-year-old Mr. Anower and 38-year-old Mr. Hasan, stated through an interpreter that they met the woman while walking along Pattaya Beach. After engaging in conversation, they invited her to their room at a hotel on Soi Beach Road 13/4 to continue socializing. According to their account, the woman asked to use the bathroom at one point during the visit. Upon returning, she allegedly initiated a brief argument before promptly leaving the premises.
The men soon discovered that a significant amount of cash in both Thai and foreign currencies, totaling more than 50,000 baht, was missing from their belongings. They immediately contacted the police, who arrived at the hotel around 1:05 a.m. to begin their investigation.
Three Indian Nationals Arrested for Pattaya Restaurant Assault
Authorities have commenced a review of available CCTV footage from the vicinity, though initial examinations suggest that cameras in the immediate area failed to capture clear images of the woman entering or leaving the building. Investigators are now coordinating with hotel management and neighboring businesses to locate additional video evidence or potential witnesses. Police have reiterated their warning to tourists to exercise caution when interacting with strangers and inviting them to private accommodations, noting that similar theft cases have previously been reported in Pattaya’s beach and entertainment districts. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to identify the suspect.
