Bangkok Man Finds Photos of Skeletal Remains on Returned Lost Phone

BANGKOK – A local man’s relief at recovering his lost mobile phone turned to horror when he discovered it now contained photographs of a human skeleton. The unsettling incident was shared publicly by the phone’s owner, Nattapon, on his Facebook page in a plea for official assistance.

The man had previously lost his phone near Soi Chaeng Watthana 14. He was able to arrange a meeting to retrieve the device the following morning. During the handover, he noted that the individual returning the phone appeared to be mentally unstable. It was only after returning home and inspecting the device that he made a grisly discovery: new images stored on the phone depicted skeletal human remains laid out on a blanket with a pillow.

The phone’s owner concluded his social media post with an urgent appeal directed at police and rescue workers. He specifically requested that abandoned buildings in the Chaeng Watthana area be investigated, expressing his hope that the deceased could be located and provided with a proper burial or cremation. Authorities have not yet publicly commented on the matter.
