French and Thai Men Injured after Sword and Knife Fight in Phuket
On Monday, May 20th, 2024, a violent altercation occurred in Karon involving a French and a Thai man, resulting in serious injuries due to a sword and knife fight.
The incident was reported to the Karon Police at 11:20 P.M., and upon reviewing CCTV footage, it was established that the conflict began at 9:30 P.M. when Mr. Jirasak ‘Mun’ Thonghor threw a beer bottle into the residence of Mr. A. C., a 50-year-old French national.
Following a heated exchange, the confrontation escalated into a physical fight in the vicinity of Soi Green Drinking Water. Both individuals were armed, one with a knife and the other with a sword, and subsequently, they were admitted to different hospitals for treatment.
