A large combined police and army force raided 12 locations in Sakaew province as part of the government’s crackdown on influential criminal figures and syndicates on Friday.

The coordinated raids were led by Pol Gen Srivara Rangseepromnakul, the deputy national police chief, and Maj-Gen Srisak Poonprasit, commander of the Burapha task force and Sakaew governor Pakaratorn Thienchai.
