Bangkok’s Blue Line underground train construction passes 50% mark

BANGKOK, 20 August 2014 (NNT) – The construction of Bangkok’s Blue Line underground train system has made a significant progress and the first tunnelling under the Chao Phraya River is set to commence soon.

Mr. Plew Trivisvavet, CEO of Ch. Kanrchang Public Company Limited which is in charge of the construction of the extended part of the Blue Line underground train system between Sanam Chai and Tha Phra, said Wednesday that the progress of the project has already passed the 50% mark.
