PM Yingluck Shinawatra awaits Constitutional Court decision on extending deadline

BANGKOK, April 18 – Thailand’s Constitutional Court was non-committal regarding its response to a request by caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra to extend her deadline for presenting clarifications on the transfer of the former National Security Commission (NSC) chief for 15 days.

Chaowana Traimas, Secretary-General of the Constitutional Court Office, said the premier’s request will be submitted to the judges’ regular meeting on Wednesday.
