Suthep tells Yingluck Shinawatra to step down from caretaker role

Anti-Thaksin protest leader Suthep Thaugsuban Monday night told Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra and her entire cabinet to step down from the caretaker role within 24 hours.

In the second announcement at 10.30 p.m., Suthep, secretary-general of the People’s Democratic Reform Committee ( PDRC), gave the 24-hour ultimatum to the prime minister to return sovereign power back to the committee which he declared is now legitimate body, to reform the country to full democracy.
