A taxi driver wanted for a fatal hit-and-run in Bangkok’s Soi Sathorn 3 (Soi Suan Phlu), which killed a British woman and seriously injured her friend at 4am yesterday, turned himself in to Thung Mahamek police. He was later released on bail of Bt100,000.

British woman Joanna Helen McKiddie, 29, was killed instantly, while her friend from Scotland Lauren Tobiasen Hughes, 26, suffered a broken hip and bruises.
