Hat Yai to hold month-long Songkran activities to boost tourism

SONGKHLA, March 29 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Hat Yai office will hold Songkran activities during the whole month of April to boost local and cultural tourism.

The promotion is expected to help generate revenue of at least Bt100 million in this southern commercial district.

TAT Hat Yai Director Prapas Intanaprasart said activities have been planned to attract both domestic tourists and international visitors, particularly from Malaysia and Singapore, during the Thai New Year.
