A 74 year old homeless fisherman was shot in his backside in the early hours of Wednesday, as he slept on the pavement.

Police and rescue workers were called to a recreational area close to the Sattahip Navy Base and attended to Khun Pien while his 44 year old wife, Khun Nim looked on. Three empty bullet casings were found at the scene and according to the victim, this was not the first time someone had tried to hurt him.
