Thailand should learn from flood crisis for future prevention: UN chief

BANGKOK, Nov 16 – United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Wednesday advised Thailand to learn from the current flood crisis and transform the lessons into measures for future prevention.

The visit at the invitation of the Thai government was aimed at strengthening close cooperation between Thailand and the UN.
