Pheu Thai party set to win election: ABAC exit poll

BANGKOK, July 3 — The Pheu Thai party is set to win Thailand’s national election Sunday with 299 seats, while the Democrat party is projected to win only 132 of a total 500 seats in the House of Representatives to be filled, according to the ABAC exit poll.

Exit polls released promptly after polling stations nationwide closed at 3pm indicated that former opposition Pheu Thai Party are on course for a landslide victory and will be able to form a new government without coalition partners.
