The temple’s statement came in response to social media posts by Krisda Witthayakhajorndet, CEO and founder of Be On Cloud, who described witnessing photographers aggressively clearing popular photo spots for their paying clients, particularly targeting foreign tourists. Krisda claimed he attempted to intervene but was ignored, and that even Thai actor Apo Nattawin Wattanakitiphat was asked to move on three separate occasions.

In its response, the temple acknowledged the issue and emphasized its commitment to maintaining a respectful environment for all visitors, who number around 10,000 daily. Management stated it is collaborating with Bangkok Yai Police to reinforce guidelines, ensure order, and improve cooperation among photographers, vendors, and temple staff.
