Rail Track Bomb Injures Rangers, Disrupts Train Services in Narathiwat
A bomb detonated on the railway line near Maruebo station in Narathiwat’s Rangae district on Monday morning, wounding two security personnel and forcing the suspension of local train services. The explosion occurred at approximately 6:30 a.m., causing damage to the track and several sleepers at a switching point, according to the State Railway of Thailand (SRT).

The blast injured two rangers who were subsequently transported to Rangae District Hospital for treatment. The attack, allegedly carried out by Muslim insurgents, led to the immediate disruption of rail traffic. Train No. 448, traveling from Sungai Kolok to Surat Thani, was terminated at Tanyongmat station, while Train No. 453 from Yala to Sungai Kolok was halted at Reuso station.
