The Chao Por Lak Muang Shrine is a beautiful shrine located in the northeastern province of Khon Kaen, in the heart of the city of the same name.

This shrine hosts two impressive Siho finials with blue and gold finish as guards in front of the main entrance of the small building.

Curiously, the Chao Por Lak Muang Shrine is located where most of the nightlife spots as well as the majority of hotels are located.

If you’re visiting Khon Kaen it’s worth to visit Wat Nong Wang, the Bueng Kaen Nakhon Lake, Ban Khok Sa-Nga King Cobra Village or the Phu Wiang National Park & Dinosaur Museum.
