AYUTTHAYA: A knife-wielding man who ran amok at a petrol station in Phachi district was shot dead by two police officers who were also injured in the attack in the early hours of Saturday.

Pol Col Kanthapong Ninkham, chief of Phachi police, said a fact-finding panel would be set up to look into the shooting. He promised to ensure justice for all sides.
