Fire rages through Phang Nga market


PHANG NGA, 12 August 2016 (NNT) – A fire has raged through a market at the resort village of Khao Lak in Phang Nga province, damaging scores of shops.

Firefighters last night spent more than an hour trying to put out the flames which ruined 80 kiosks. The fire spread quickly as most of the kiosks were made of wood, with thatched roofs. No one was killed or injured.
