TAT governor expects over 7.6 billion baht in tourist cash during long weekend

BANGKOK, 6 May 2016, (NNT) – Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) governor Yutthasak Suphasorn expected as many as 2.16 million people to take leisure trips within Thailand during the upcoming long weekend which could probably generate a cash flow of over 7.6 billion baht.

Most travelers are likely to visit the provinces such as Chonburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Kanchanaburi, Nakorn Ratchasima, Ayutthaya, Petchburi, Saraburi, Chiang Mai and Songkhla.
