Eight-country meeting in Phuket discusses ways to block terror attacks

PHUKET: Representatives from eight countries gathered at the Holiday Inn Resort in Patong this morning (June 17) for a four-day conference on preventing chemical attacks and bombings by terrorists.

Also at the meeting were members of the Thai Police Foreign Affairs Division, along with representatives from Interpol. Pol Lt Gen Panya Mamen, Commissioner of Police Region 8 was in the chair for the opening session.
