3 Russians arrested in Pattaya ATM Fraud case

The arrest of three Russian Nationals accused of using fake ATM cards with stolen bank details was announced on Saturday afternoon.

Kasikorn Bank informed officers of the Provincial Transnational Crime Suppression Unit that attempts had been made to withdraw cash from various machines around Pattaya. The three men were caught red-handed while attempting to use a machine on Soi Buakhao.

Aleksandr Li, Dmitrii Minkin and Aleksandr Lidzhiev – aged between 27 and 37 – were taken to their rented Lumpini Condominium in Jomtien, where police seized 88 bank cards, a card skimmer, a laptop computer, 12,000 baht in cash and six mini video cameras purchased from Tuk Com IT Centre.
