Thai Government offers condolences to Laos

BANGKOK, 19 May 2014 (NNT) – The Thai government has sent a letter of condolence to Lao People’s Democratic Republic following a plane crash incident that took place early on Saturday.

Acting Prime Minister Niwatthamrong Boonsongpaisan, on behalf of the Thai government, sent a letter expressing his condolences after a Lao military aircraft carrying 14 passengers including high-ranking government officials had crashed in the northern province of Xiangkhouang.
