School van driver arrested for smuggling Siamese rosewood

NAKHON PHANOM, July 13 – A school van driver was arrested in Thailand’s northeastern province of Nakhon Phanom for attempting to smuggle Siamese rosewood to the neighbouring Lao PDR.

The smuggler was identified as Nipon Wongdee, 53, who worked several part-time jobs, including driving a van to transport students.
