Thai soldier wounded in landmine explosion at Cambodian border

SI SA KET, March 21 — A Thai soldier was wounded from stepping on a landmine while patrolling the Thai-Cambodian border at Si Sa Ket province.

The victim was identified as Pvt Pichit Khamsomboon, 22, of Infantry Company 131 of the Suranaree Task Force.

He was rushed to Kantharalak Hospital because both legs were injured in the explosion, but later was transferred to a hospital at Sappasitprasong Camp in Ubon Ratchathani. His condition is listed as stable.
