Portuguese ex-pat bound and gagged in 500,000 Baht Pattaya House Burglary

A Portuguese resident from Estoril in Portugal was subjected to an armed break-in of her East Pattaya home on Saturday afternoon where 1.5 Million Baht’s worth of cash and valuables were stolen.

Police were called to the house of Mrs. Suzette Lage aged 55 at the Freeway Villas, a quiet gated community next to Horseshoe Point on the Eastern outskirts of Pattaya.

She was clearly distraught and explained how two Thai men entered her house and held her at gunpoint while they ransacked the property and stole items of value.
