Insurgents torch 18 CCTVs in Yala

YALA, April 9 — Eighteen closed-circuit television (CCTV) surveillance cameras were burned overnight in three subdistricts of restive Yala’s Raman district, according to local police.

Pol Lt-Col Somprat Kankanon of Kotabaru police station together with the provincial bomb disposal squad and forensic experts Monday morning investigated and collected evidence at the sites on the Yala-Kotabaru Road after presumed insurgents late Sunday night torched CCTV security cameras.
