Over 20,000 speed pills seized in Phatthalung

PHATTHALUNG, March 18 – Two suspected drug traffickers on Sunday were arrested with more than 20,000 methamphetamine pill, with a street value worth about Bt5 million (over US$166,000) in the southern province of Phatthalung, according to local police.

Veera Lemmai, 33, and Arnat Lempan, 22, were detained with 24,589 meth pills hidden in a Phatthalung-registered pickup truck, Pol Maj Gen Saksommai Putthakul, chief of Phatthalung provincial police said.
