2 Red Shirts get 20 months jail for state of emergency violation

BANGKOK, Sept 30 – Thailand’s Criminal Court on Friday sentenced two Red Shirt activists to 20 months in jail for violating the state of emergency imposed last year.

The two convicted United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD) members were Veera Saipim and Chakkrit Chomthong, both from the northeastern province of Sakhon Nakhon.
