Bangkok Chemist busted with drug precursors
Bangkok police seized more than 600,000 flu tablets containing enough pseudoephidrine to produce methamphetamine, or yaba, worth about 416 million baht from a drug store in Bangkok’s Pratunam area on Thursday.
The flu tablets could be used as reagents for the production of methamphetamine and crystal meth, or “ice”, Pol Maj Gen Itthiphon Phiriyaphinyo, deputy commander of the Metropolitan Police, told a news conference on Friday.
