Woman Stabbed in Front of Dozens of Tourists on Pattaya Beach
PATTAYA – A violent altercation between two women erupted into a stabbing on Pattaya Beach in the early hours of Friday, alarming onlookers and prompting a swift police response. The incident occurred around 1:00 a.m. near Soi 12 on Pattaya Beach.

Police and rescue teams from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation arrived to find a large crowd of Thai and foreign tourists gathered around the scene. One woman, armed with a sharp metal object, repeatedly stabbed another woman, causing wounds to her arms and head. A shirtless Thai man stood nearby, threatening bystanders who attempted to intervene.
Officers managed to detain both the female assailant and the shirtless man as they tried to flee in a sedan. They were taken to Pattaya City Police Station for questioning.
The injured woman received first aid from rescue workers before being transported to a hospital for treatment. She told police she had an ongoing dispute with the attacker stemming from an argument two days earlier in the same area. On the night of the incident, she said the man arrived with the assailant, issued threats, and encouraged the attack.
Witnesses reported that the shirtless man had also intervened aggressively during the earlier dispute. During the stabbing, he allegedly tried to prevent anyone from breaking up the fight.

Police are collecting evidence, including video footage recorded by bystanders, and will summon all involved parties for further investigation before pursuing legal action.
