According to Pol Lt Natthabodin Thong-in, deputy investigation chief at Nong Prue Police Station, the victim, identified only as “May,” reported that she had been visiting a pub in South Pattaya on Tuesday night with a friend. After her friend departed, May was invited by a Thai woman to join a different group, where she was introduced to a Chinese man. The group later moved to a karaoke bar, after which the man invited her to his house in Soi Khao Talo 7.

Upon arrival, May discovered two other Chinese men inside the property. She told police that the three men then dragged her into a bedroom, where they physically assaulted and took turns raping her. After the alleged assault, the men reportedly gave her 1,000 baht before she managed to leave the premises.

A ride-hailing driver who transported May from the scene confirmed that she appeared visibly shaken and was crying when he picked her up around 5:35 a.m. He accompanied her to the police station to file the formal complaint. Police subsequently visited the house with a translator and took the three men into custody for questioning.

A police source revealed that negotiations were underway between the parties, with the woman initially seeking 300,000 baht in compensation from each man. No settlement had been reached as of the latest reports.
