The suspects—identified as a 41-year-old Swedish national and a 32-year-old Thai woman—were arrested outside a convenience store on Ratchapatanusorn Road in Patong. Authorities later expanded their search to a condominium in Rawai’s Soi Samakkhi 2, where additional evidence was secured.
Police confiscated 15.37 grams of cocaine, along with 80 resealable plastic bags, a digital scale, a yellow MG5 sedan, and two iPhones—all indicative of an organized distribution network. The suspects now face serious charges for unauthorized possession and distribution of a Category 2 narcotic (cocaine) under Thai law.
Both individuals have been transferred to Patong Police Station for further investigation. If convicted, they could face severe penalties, including lengthy prison sentences under Thailand’s stringent drug laws.
