The incident occurred around 10:30 PM on Soi 13/3 near the beach. Emergency responders from the Sawang Boriboon Rescue Center arrived at the scene after receiving a report of an injured foreign tourist. Upon arrival, they found a 54-year-old Sri Lankan man, identified as Mr. S., bleeding heavily from a head wound. He was treated at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for further care.
Police detained the alleged attacker, a 29-year-old transgender woman known as Mintran, and brought her to Pattaya City Police Station for questioning. Both parties offered conflicting accounts of what led to the altercation.

According to Mintran, the tourist had approached her seeking companionship services and agreed to pay 2,000 baht. During their exchange, she said Mr. S. insisted on touching her genitals to confirm her gender, which she allowed once. However, she alleged that he attempted to repeat the action without paying and became aggressive, at one point tearing her shirt and injuring her chest. In response, she admitted to striking him on the head multiple times with her high-heeled shoe in self-defense.
Mr. S., however, told police he had only touched Mintran once, claiming he was uncertain about her gender and decided not to follow through with the arrangement. He alleged that when he tried to walk away, Mintran became enraged, grabbed his shirt, and attacked him without warning.
Authorities are now reviewing both statements and collecting further evidence, including eyewitness accounts and possible CCTV footage from the surrounding area. While charges have not yet been filed, Pattaya City Police confirmed the investigation is ongoing to determine the exact sequence of events and assess any legal violations.
