Trang Police Hunt Four Suspects in Grisly Palm Plantation Murders
Sikao District, Trang – Authorities are scrambling to apprehend four men wanted for the brutal killings of at least three workers at a remote oil palm plantation, where investigators made the horrifying discovery of charred human remains in a shallow grave over the weekend.

The Trang Provincial Court has issued arrest warrants after forensic teams uncovered a scene of chilling violence—burned car tires, scattered bullet casings, and fuel containers littered the crime scene, suggesting the victims were executed before their bodies were set ablaze. About 500 meters away, a separate human skeleton was found, raising fears of a fourth victim whose remains may have been dumped there long before.
According to police sources, one of the suspects had been attempting to establish himself as a local “influential figure,” allegedly pressuring plantation owners into letting him take control of their operations. The grisly murders unfolded last Saturday when the group arrived to steal oil palm seeds, only to encounter three employees on-site. Investigators believe the workers were killed on the spot before the suspects made a trip into town to procure old tires—used as fuel to burn the bodies in a crude attempt to destroy evidence.
Police suspect the fourth victim, whose skeletal remains were found nearby, may have been murdered elsewhere and later buried at the plantation. The case has sent shockwaves through the tight-knit agricultural community, with plantation workers expressing fear over the brazen violence.

Authorities are now tracking the suspects’ known associates and monitoring border checkpoints to prevent their escape. Meanwhile, forensic experts are working to identify the skeletal remains and determine whether they are linked to the same criminal group.
