The first incident occurred at 8:46 PM in Soi Phratamnak 5 when a 21-year-old Thai woman rejected a ride offer from a man wearing an orange motorbike taxi vest. The suspect blocked her path and pulled out a gun, causing her to flee to a nearby hotel for safety.

Minutes later, the same attacker ambushed a Russian mother walking with her 3-year-old daughter in Soi Phratamnak 6. After circling them three times on his Honda Wave motorcycle, he cornered them in a dark alley, brandished his firearm, and stole 3,100 baht in cash.

Pattaya Police have collected CCTV footage and witness statements showing the suspect’s distinctive tattoos and motorcycle modifications. Investigators confirm this matches a recent pattern of criminals using motorbike taxi uniforms to deceive victims.

Tourist police have issued urgent safety warnings advising visitors to:
