Fire Destroys 200 Seized Vehicles at Customs Storage Yard in Tak

TAK, March 19 (TNA) – A fire at a customs storage yard in Tak province, near the Thai-Myanmar border, destroyed approximately 200 seized vehicles awaiting auction, authorities said on Wednesday.

The fire broke out late on Tuesday evening at the yard near the Second Thai-Myanmar Friendship Bridge in Mae Sot district. More than 10 fire trucks from various agencies, along with administrative and military personnel, battled the blaze for over three hours before it was brought under control.
