AYUTTHAYA, April 10 (TNA) – The Songkran Festival in the ancient city of Ayutthaya has commenced with elephants adorned with colorful paints splashing water joyously.

It is all set to welcome both Thai and international tourists.

Senior officials from the tourism office and local authorities on Tuesday joined hands to kick off the Songkran water festival for the year 2024 at the Elephant Palace and Royal Kraal in Ayutthaya under the theme “Ayutthaya Grand Songkran: Fun, Happiness, and Merit.”
