A man was arrested in Tak province for killing a protected wildlife species and illegal possession of the carcass of a protected species after police found a dead crab-eating macaque in his house.

The suspect, Mr Nikhom Munpakdee, a resident of Tambon Nong Bua Nua in Muang district, was nabbed by a team of police, local and forest officials as he hurriedly left the house in a motorcycle.
