Woman killed by toppled power pole pulled down by fallen tree on Chidlom

A power pole, toppled by a falling big tree, crashed on passing vehicles and pedestrians on Soi Chidlom this morning, killed a woman, and injuring two others.

The uprooted tree fell on overhead high voltage power cables, pulling down six power poles of 12 metres and 8 metres in length on the ground, and blocking traffic in the area.
