Public Health Ministry pushed forward 14-year strategic plan to end AIDS

BANGKOK, 1 December 2016 (NNT) – The Ministry of Public Health has pushed forward its 14-year strategy to end new contraction of AIDS by 2030, on the occasion of World AIDS Day December 1st.

On the occasion of World AIDS Day on December 1st of each year, as declared by the World Health Organization (WHO), Department of Disease Control (DDC) Director General Jessada Chokdamrongsuk said that the DDC has always been in pursuit of measures to stop new outbreaks and contractions of the HIV virus.
