DOE warns against employment fraud to UAE

BANGKOK, 1 December 2016 (NNT) – The Department of Employment (DOE) has issued a warning for Thai jobseekers against illegal employment agencies claiming to arrange jobs in the United Arab Emirates using tourist visas.

According to DOE Director-General Singhadet Chu-umnart, the department was informed that the labour office in Abu Dhabi has been rescuing and deporting Thai nationals that were duped into working in the UAE on tourist visas.
