PM content with 6th Annual Thai-Malaysian Joint Meeting

BANGKOK, 10 September 2016 (NNT) – Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha is satisfied with the outcome of the joint meeting between Thailand and Malaysia, thanking his Malaysian counterpart for facilitating peace dialogues between the Thai government and the insurgent umbrella group Mara Patani.

Gen Prayut and Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak held a joint press conference after the 6th Annual Thai-Malaysian Joint Meeting, saying the meeting went very smoothly. Both parties agreed to further cooperation on national security, intelligence exchange, counter-terrorism, counter-extremism, transnational organized crime prevention, and illegal migration.
