Former Pheu Thai party spokesman Prompong Nopparit and former Udon Thani MP Kiat-udom Menasawat serving 12 months in prison for libel charge were freed today, two months ahead of their 12-month prison term.

They were released from Bangkok Remand Prison prior to their imprisonment term because of good behaviour while imprisoned.
