AIS confirmed to join 4G auction this month

BANGKOK, 11 May 2016 (NNT) – Advanced Info Service (AIS) is the first mobile carrier confirmed to join the auction of the 4G mobile network on 900 MHz frequency later this month, while the auction will continue to take place even if there is only one bidder, says NBTC.

The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) Secretary-General Takorn Tantasith has revealed the progress of the auction for operator licenses of 4G mobile network on 900 MHz frequency at a seminar held by the Information and Technology Journalist Club of the Thai Journalist Association.
