First glass skywalk on cliff by Mekong River opens at Wat Pa Tak Sua

The country’s first glass bottomed skywalk hanging out over the top of the cliff by the Mekong River was officially opened yesterday becoming the new tourist attraction of Nong Khai province.

The opening ceremony of the 17 million baht glass bottomed skywalk, 500 metres above mean sea level, at Wat Pa Tak Sua temple in Sangkhom district was presided over by Nong Khai governor Suchart Noppawan.
