Pheu Thai spokesman jailed for defaming former Constitutional Court president

The Supreme Court Friday jailed Pheu Thai spokesman Prompong Nopparit and former Pheu Thai MP Kiartudom Menasawat one year for having defamed former Constitutional Court president Wasant Sroypisut.

The Supreme Court upheld the defamation conviction against the two former MPs and upheld the one-year jail term handed down on them by the Appeals Court.
